Our nylon sutures are sterile, non-absorbable, monofilament sutures made from polyamide 6 and/or polyamide 6.6. Available in blue or black and USP sizes 12/0 to 4, they are sterilized using ethylene oxide and fully compliant with USP standards for non-absorbable surgical sutures.
Crafted using advanced drilling technology, the suture needle and thread are smoothly integrated to ensure seamless tissue penetration with minimal trauma.
Key Features
High tensile strength and reliable wound support
Smooth tissue passage with minimal drag
Easy handling and secure knotting
Low tissue reactivity and excellent biocompatibility
Monofilament design reduces bacterial wicking and infection risk
Clinical Indications
Nylon sutures are ideal for:
General surgery and soft tissue approximation
Ophthalmic surgery
Orthopedic procedures
Skin closure
Peripheral nerve repair
Plastic and reconstructive surgery
Note: Nylon sutures are not recommended where permanent tensile strength is critical, such as in cardiac valve surgery or central nervous system procedures.
Sterilization: Ethylene Oxide
